Milwaukee Police Department Investigates April 16th Non-Fatal Shooting

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at approximately 2:57 p.m., on the 3600 block of N. 25th Street.

A 6-year-old child sustained a graze wound when he got a hold of a firearm inside the residence and accidently discharged it. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days against a 79-year-old woman. The Milwaukee Police Department would like to remind everyone to please secure all firearms with a gun lock or in a secure location to keep them out of the reach of children.
