Milwaukee Police Department Investigates Fatal Accident

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at approximately 12:49 a.m., on the 2300 block of W. Center St. A pedestrian was struck by an auto who fled the scene. The pedestrian was struck by a second auto who also fled the scene but was later stopped. The victim, a 45-year-old man sustained fatal injuries. A 60-year-old man who was driving the second vehicle was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days. Milwaukee Police continues to seek an unknown suspect.
