Milwaukee Police Department At A Scene With A Barricaded Subject

On April 23, 2020, Milwaukee Police responded to a residence on the 5100 block of North 42nd Street to check for a wanted suspect.

On Thursday, April 23, 2020, at approximately 9:00 A.M., Milwaukee Police responded to a residence on the 5100 block of North 42nd Street to check for a wanted suspect. The suspect refused to exit the residence and held an adult female and child hostage. After several hours of negotiation, the suspect released the two hostages without incident. At 12:49 P.M., the suspect, a 35 year old Milwaukee man was taken into custody. The suspect was wanted for a violation of probation and is a person of interest in a sudden death investigation that occurred on March 6, 2020, near the 10000 block of West Appleton Ave. Both investigations are active and ongoing.
