On Saturday, April 11, 2020, the Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred this evening at 9:09 p.m. Officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of W. Wright St., where they located a 23 year-old Milwaukee man suffering from serious gunshot wounds. He died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The motive for this homicide is under investigation and no arrests have been made. On Sunday, April 12, 2020, the Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a non-fatal shooting incident that occurred at 12:35 a.m. Officers responded to a shooting in the 4700 block of N. 44th St., where they located two 16-year-old Milwaukee boys suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both the victims are being treated at Froedtert Hospital and are expected to survive. The motive for this shooting is under investigation and no arrests have been made. On Sunday, April 12, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a 14 year old juvenile was dropped off at a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Investigation is ongoing however it appears to shots fired between two groups of individuals in the area of 27th/Fond du lac Ave. Milwaukee Police are looking for suspects.

On Sunday, April 12, 2020, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Milwaukee Police received information that a subject's body was in the water. Police responded to the area of S. 16th and W. Canal and with the help of MFD recovered the body of a 56 year old male. The investigation continues and next of kin notification will be made. Further information will be released later tomorrow morning.
