Milwaukee Police Investigate Shooting After 1-Year-Old Injured

MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting incident that left an infant injured Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, police said a suspect fired several shots into a car that was traveling in the 3800 block of N. 12th Street.

The victim, a 1-year-old boy, suffered non-life threatening injuries from the broken window glass, police said. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested and police said criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
