On 1/1/20 at 1:37 AM the Milwaukee Police Department responded to call for a subject with a gun in the 8700 block of W. Carmen Ave. Upon the arrival of the police, the suspect retreated into an apartment building and refused to exit. After 2 hours of dialogue, the suspect surrendered to police without incident.
On 1/1/20 at 11:21 PM the Milwaukee Police Department responded to the report of a shooting in the 700 block of E. Center St. Upon arrival officers located a 31-year old Milwaukee man who sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. At this time no arrests have been made.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on January 1st at about 3:05 p.m. in the 600 block of W. Lapham Bl. The 28-year-old male victim was shot during an argument with a known suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This is an ongoing investigation and MPD has a suspect in custody.
