Milwaukee Woman Arrested With Stolen Vehicle, Gave False Name To Police

A Milwaukee woman was arrested Wednesday on charges including resisting arrest and driving a motor vehicle without owner's consent.

ELM GROVE, WI -- A Milwaukee woman was arrested on Wednesday in Elm Grove for driving a stolen vehicle among other charges. The woman, 29, allegedly fled from police as they attempted a traffic stop to ticket her for speeding.

The woman pulled over near Watertown Plank Road and Sunnyslope Road in Elm Grove, according to police.

The vehicle was found to be stolen from Milwaukee on Tuesday night, authorities say. Allegedly, after she initially fled and finally pulled over, she provided police with a false name. The police then discovered the vehicle was stolen and arrested the woman.

The Waukesha County District Attorney's office is expected to charge the woman with eluding, operating a motor vehicle without owners consent, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and speeding.
