MILWAUKEE -- A 56-year-old Milwaukee woman was sitting peacefully in her home, when the unthinkable happened.   According to Milwaukee Police, the woman Milwaukee woman was the victim of a shooting near N 19th and W Brown Streets when she was struck by a stray bullet.    Authorities say shots were fired during a disturbance two blocks from her home and police believe the bullet was a result of that shooting.     <a href="http://www.cbs58.com/story/33398205/woman-struck-by-stray-bullet-while-in-her-own-home" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">According</a> to a CBS 58 report, police officials do not believe the woman was related to any shooter or was the target of the shooting.     She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening wound.     The Police are continuing to investigate the shooting.    image: shutterstock
