Milwaukee Woman Struck by Bullet While Seated in Her Own Home
Shots were fired during a dispute in her neighborhood when a stray bullet struck her.

MILWAUKEE -- A 56-year-old Milwaukee woman was sitting peacefully in her home, when the unthinkable happened.
According to Milwaukee Police, the woman Milwaukee woman was the victim of a shooting near N 19th and W Brown Streets when she was struck by a stray bullet.
Authorities say shots were fired during a disturbance two blocks from her home and police believe the bullet was a result of that shooting.

According to a CBS 58 report, police officials do not believe the woman was related to any shooter or was the target of the shooting.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening wound.
