More Snow, Bitter Cold Still On Track For Milwaukee Area: WI Weather
Snow, wind, and bitter cold temperatures are all still on tap for this weekend in Milwaukee and across southern Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE — "Much" of southern Wisconsin should expect over 6 inches of snow when the current storm is over, according to the National Weather Service. The exception is likely to be areas along the lake, but even Milwaukee is expected to get at least some plowable snow.

And regardless of how much accumulation there is, blowing snow will make travel extremely difficult.
"Heavy snowfall with visibilities less than 1/4 mile at times will continue through this morning," the NWS added. "Some areas of lesser snowfall rates may develop midday into the early afternoon, but impacts to travel remain elevated."
