Most Conservative and Most Liberal Patch Towns In Wisconsin: List

Using past election data, this is how Milwaukee-area cities and suburbs fell politically. How do you think it will look this Tuesday?

MILWAUKEE, WI — With Election Day just days away, voters in Wisconsin are well aware that the 2016 Presidential election came down to just a few thousand votes - or non-voters.

With the midterms next week, it's worth taking a look at the political landscape of the metro area. The New York Times detailed map of the 2016 election between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton shows how each city in Wisconsin voted in the 2016 Presidential election. Here are a number of our Patch communities that were represented in the map. Numbers represent percentage points.

Based on 2012 and 2016 election results, Niche.com has categorized the following cities:

Niche says that Muskego, Brookfield, Elm Grove, Pewaukee, Butler, Menomonee Falls, Mequon, Germantown, Cedarburg and Port Washington are all A-grade "Very Conservative" municipalities.

Likewise, Niche says that Whitefish Bay and Shorewood are A-grade "Very Liberal" municipalities. Other cities such as West Allis and Milwaukee earn a B-grade for their political demographics.

According to Niche, there are more conservative suburbs than liberal suburbs.
