Mother of 3, Hit-and-Run Victim, Declared Brain Dead
West Milwaukee police looking for driver of car that hit woman last Wednesday.

(Originally published by WISN) MILWAUKEE, WI — A mom who was struck by a hit-and-run driver and left for dead with multiple injuries was declared brain dead on Tuesday, WSIN reports.
A family member told the TV station that Peggy Cetnarowski suffered a broken arm, broken cracked ribs, and a fractured skull when she was hit last Wednesday near West Mitchell Street and West Beloit Road while walking home. Cetnarowski is being treated at Froedtert Hospital.
Police are still looking for the driver who struck Cetnarowski while she was in a crosswalk and took off. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call West Milwaukee police. Family members have offered a $3,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the driver.

Family members tell WISN that Cetnarowski has three children; they lost their father several years ago.
