Officer-Involved Shooting Leaves 1 Seriously Injured: Report

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Police in Milwaukee say that an armed suspect has been transported to a local hospital with serious injuries following an officer-involved shooting early Wednesday.
According to a WISN report, the shooting took place at about 5:45 a.m. near N. 101st Street and West Mill Road.
Reports indicate that a vehicle crashed into an apartment building, causing a fire. Authorities say this incident is connected to the suspect involved in the shooting. According to a CBS 58 report, a neighbor says she heard more than 20 gunshots around 5:45 this morning. Police say more information will be released this afternoon.
