Operation Drive Sober Results in 6 Arrests
Operation Drive Sober initiative from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through today at 6:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of six drunken drivers.

From The City of Milwaukee: Sheriff Richard R. Schmidt ordered an aggressive Operating While Intoxicated (OWI- drugs and/or alcohol) initiative to rid the Milwaukee County freeway system of intoxicated drivers. This weekend’s Operation Drive Sober initiative from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through today at 6:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of six drunken drivers. The average PBT test results were .13.
One repeat offender was arrested: Thomas Fikes, age 26, of Milwaukee, was arrested for OWI-3rd.
First-time offenders taken into custody were: Timothy Ross, age 57, of Racine, Diane Strawder, age 49, of Milwaukee, Donnel Thompson, age 40, of Milwaukee, Julie Hanson, age 42, of Milwaukee, and Bryant Eckes, age 24, of Milwaukee.
