Patrick Fowler Found Guilty Of Murdering Woman And Child
Patrick Fowler stabbed and killed a Milwaukee woman and her four-year-old daughter, according to the verdict delivered by the jury.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Patrick Fowler, 33, was found guilty on Friday of the March 2016 crime of stabbing to death Jessica Ellenberger, and her four-year-old daughter, Madyson Marshel.
Judge Mark A. Sanders read the verdict given to him by the jury: “We the jury find the defendant Patrick Fowler guilty of first degree intentional homicide of Jessica Ellenberger. We the jury find the defendant Patrick Fowler guilty of first degree intentional homicide of Madyson Marshel."
On Thursday, as Fowler testified in his defense, he claimed not to have done the gruesome deed. According to a FOX6 report, he claimed to have been in the bathroom of Ellenberger's residence at the time of the murder. “I opened the door. I seen somebody rushing at me. I threw my hand up and my hand was cut. I slammed the bathroom door and stayed in there,” Fowler told the court.

Though, the jury revealed their verdict just minutes after requesting a piece of evidence: a video and transcript of Fowler apparently confessing to the crime.
Fowler's sentencing will be read on May 5th. He may serve mandatory life in prison.
