WISCONSIN -- The CEO of Penzey's, a Wisconsin-based spice company, is going full-tilt after President-elect Donald Trump, the Republican Party and voters who supported him.
To say that CEO Bill Penzey Jr. has spiced up the post-election drama simply might not go far enough. According to a Journal Sentinel article published over the weekend, Penzey is caught in a "Political Firestorm."
"The open embrace of racism by the Republican Party in this election is now unleashing a wave of ugliness unseen in this country for decades," Bill Penzey Jr. wrote in a Tuesday night email to the company's mailing list. "The American people are taking notice."

Penzey elaborated on his thoughts more publicly in a Facebook post titled, "Cooking trumps Racism." You can see that Facebook post below.
An article initially published by the Milwaukee Business Journal stated that Penzey created the Facebook page message as a way to further clarify what he had stated in the email he sent out prior.

Locals are weighing in on Penzey's statements, and notable Trump-friendly sheriff David Clarke has taken exception to his comments:
This typical hate-filled white elitist lefty doesn't live around black people or have stores in black neighborhoods. https://t.co/0eH1gLiOlm

"You really are a good bunch, but you just committed the biggest act of racism in American history since Wallace stood in the schoolhouse doorway 53 years ago," he wrote, according to the Journal Sentinel article. "Make this right. Take ownership for what you have done and begin the pathway forward."
