Petition Calls for FOX to Replace Joe Buck With Bob Uecker in World Series Broadcast Booth
Holy Cow! A petition calling for "national treasure" Bob Uecker to replace Joe Buck already has more than 17,000 votes.

WISCONSIN -- "Juuuuuuuuuuust a bit outside!"
Cleveland Indians fans love Bob Uecker for his portrayal of unhinged radio broadcaster "Harry Doyle" in the 1989 movie "Major League."
Chicago Cubs fans, ahem, kind of love him - despite singing "Root, root root for the Brewers ... You'll do the same for the Cubs," as a guest performer of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at Wrigley Field.

Here is a photo of this "national treasure" during his playing days. Here's Uecker during the 1964 World Series. He never played in that series, but an indelible image of him shagging fly balls in the outfield using a tuba lives on.
