Police Ask For Help Identifying Carjacker Who Hit Owner With Own Car

The man grabbed the keys from the 61-year-old owner, stole his car and drove away, hitting the owner with the car. Police want your help.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Police are asking for help identifying a man who carjacked a 61-year-old and hit the owner with the car as he left. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning near 27th and Capitol. The suspect grabbed the keys from the 61-year-old's hands and stole the vehicle.

The stolen Cadillac DeVille was recovered that day near Muskego and Bow Street, miles from the incident. The Milwaukee Police released a video yesterday showing several angles of the man in question.

According to a FOX6 article, the suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 23 and 27, standing 5’10”-6’1” tall, with a slender build, light facial hair and hair pulled back into a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with white sleeves and jeans.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
