Police Searching For Starbucks, Bollywood Grill Burglars

Police say that two men burglarized the Wisconsin Ave. Starbucks and the Bollywood Grill on two consecutive early-morning attempts.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Milwaukee Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted in two business burglaries this week. According to Milwaukee police, early in the morning on Sep. 5, the Bollywood Grill located in 1000 Block of N. Jackson St. was burglarized. Then, a day later on Sep. 6 at nearly the same time of day, the Starbucks coffee shop located in the Block of W. Wisconsin Ave. was also burglarized by the same two suspects.

Police in Milwaukee are reporting that both men they are seeking are black men between 20 and 25 years old, appear to be of a slim build, weighing between 150 and 165 pounds, and both have short black hair. Police say one of the men was last seen wearing a white tank top, dark blue jeans and blue shoes. Police say the second man was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jean shorts and white tennis shoes.

According to police, the men pried open small window with screwdriver and gained entry to the restaurant early on Sep. 5. An audible alarm was tripped causing them to flee out of the small window. The next morning, the same two people caught on camera at the Bollywood Grill entered the Starbucks on the north side of building. Police say they attempted to pry open a locked cash register, however they were unable to obtain any contents from the register.

Police said that the shorter of the two men exited through the main entrance doors of the hotel, at which time, the taller of the two men exited through the W. Wisconsin Ave. entrance.
