MILWAUKEE, WI — Popular Mexican restaurant La Fuente has announced that has closed, but will remain open as a banquet hall.
According to a report from the Milwaukee Business Journal, restaurant owner Jose Zarate opened La Fuente, a mainstay in Milwaukee's Walker's Point neighborhood, more than 20 years ago. La Fuente, 625 S. Fifth St., in Milwaukee, made the announcement on Sunday.
