Preciousness! Go See the Baby Tigers Friday at the Milwaukee County Zoo

Male tiger has been separated from mom and sisters but reunites for fun now and then.

(Originally published on FOX6) MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee County Zoo’s three Amur tiger cubs are available for their first audience. They will be on display for the first time on Friday, Dec. 2. The cubs are now almost three months old and have remained off exhibit until now, FOX 6 is reporting.

The cubs, two girls and a boy, were born on Sept. 14. The last tiger litter born at the Milwaukee County Zoo was in 2009.

The male cub was treated for an abscess on one of his legs and returned to Big Cat Country on Oct. 24, the zoo webite says. The male cub was hand-raised by zookeepers, who bottle-fed him four times per day and is eating meat very well. Keepers regularly placed the male cub with his two siblings for socialization and exercise.
