Severe Thunderstorms Possible For Milwaukee Area: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — With thunderstorms set to impact southeast Wisconsin Wednesday morning, the Milwaukee metro area has been placed under a hazardous weather outlook advisory.

"Damaging winds and large hail are possible if another round of storms occurs with the cold front moving through the area into midday or early this afternoon," the National Weather Service said.

"The best chances for this would be across far southeast Wisconsin. Stay weather aware during this period!"

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. Areas of fog before 10am. High near 65. Windy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 47. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
