Sheriff’s Detectives Investigate Death of Man on County Grounds

MILWAUKEE, WI — On Wednesday, at about 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call regarding a body in a wooded area north of the 8900 block of Watertown Plank Road on the county grounds.

Deputies found a 57-year-old man against a tree off the trail, who suffered a gunshot wound to his head, and had a pistol on his lap.

Detectives made notification to his wife in Delafield. The death is still under investigation.
