Shots Fired At Milwaukee Police Department Officers May 4

No officers were injured and didn't return fire. This is ongoing investigation. Milwaukee Police continues to seek an unknown suspect.

On Monday, May 4, 2020, at approximately 5:10 p.m., two MPD officers were conducting an investigation on the 1300 block of S. 34th Street, when they encountered a subject that was armed with a pistol. Officers attempted to stop the subject. The subject fled and a foot pursuit ensued. As officers chased, the subject fired his gun at officers. The suspect is still at large at this time. No officers were injured and officers did not return fire. This is an ongoing investigation. Milwaukee Police continues to seek an unknown suspect.
