Cat cafés are a growing trend across the U.S., are a unique way for customers to enjoy a cup of coffee or snack while decompressing with a furry friend. Potential adopters can interact with our cats in a relaxing environment and visualize how that cat will fit in at their home. The Cat Lounge at Sip & Purr is also a neighborhood cat adoption center conveniently located on the East Side, close to Downtown and the North Shore areas.
Tim Gokhman, of New Land Enterprises, says this neighborhood development, while expected, is happening quicker than anticipated. “We always knew this neighborhood was yearning for more – we have such an incredibly diverse and strong consumer base around here. Families, students, young professionals, empty nesters. But the strength and mix of new businesses coming in to snap up the available storefronts has been amazing.”

All of Cat Cafe's cats will arrive from partner Lakeland Animal Shelter, fully vetted and ready for new homes.
“There’s a lot of untapped potential to get these cats adopted into loving homes, and that’s exactly what we’re setting out to do,” McHugh said. “Providing the adoptable cats with a stress-free, cage-less living area from the get-go really helps their personalities shine through, ultimately resulting in more adoptions.”
Sip & Purr also will be the first in Milwaukee to use Ruby Coffee Roasters, of Nelsonville, Wis. For more information visit sipandpurr.com, or follow them on social media at:
