Snow Emergency In Effect For Tuesday Night To Wednesday Morning
The city will enforce parking restrictions from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday. Alternative parking also is available.

MILWAUKEE, WI —As the cleanup continues from last weekend's snowstorm, the city has declared a Snow Emergency that will be in effect from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works.
During a Snow Emergency, no parking is allowed on through highways and bus routes. On side-streets, alternate side parking (even-numbered side tonight) is required, unless otherwise noted. Posted signs always take precedence.
According to the City of Milwaukee Parking Services, MPS has agreed to make a handful of locations available for parking from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. during Snow Emergencies:

Cass Street Playground, 1620 N. Cass St.
Fratney Street School, 3255 N. Fratney St.
Milwaukee Parkside School, 2969 S. Howell Ave.
Lincoln Avenue School, 1817 W. Lincoln Ave.
Maryland Avenue School, 2418 N. Maryland Ave.
Riverwest Elementary School, 2765 N. Fratney St.
Meanwhile, city-owned lots are available for parking during a Snow Emergency with a night parking permit. Vehicles must be parked in compliance with all posted signs at these lots. The lots are located at:

The City of Milwaukee reminds residents there are escalating fines for Snow Emergency violations during the winter season. A first violation receives a $50 fine, a second violation is a $100 fine and each violation after that receives a $150 fine and is tow eligible.
