Speaker Vos Announces Assembly Members of Joint Finance Committee
Vos says 'these fiscal conservatives will help lead the legislature through the budget process."

MADISON, WI — Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) has announced the Assembly appointments to the Joint Committee on Finance (JFC), the budget-writing committee responsible for approving state expenditures.
In a press statement released Dec. 1, Vos announced Rep. John Nygren (R-Marinette) will continue to serve as the JFC Assembly chair. Rep. Dale Kooyenga (R-Brookfield) will be the vice-chair of the committee for another term. Vos has asked Rep. Amy Loudenbeck (R-Clinton) and Rep. Mary Czaja (R-Irma) to continue to serve on the committee. He also is appointing two new committee members: Rep. Mark Born (R-Beaver Dam) and Rep. Mike Rohrkaste (R-Neenah).
“These fiscal conservatives will help lead the legislature through the budget process and make the right financial decisions for the state,” said Speaker Vos. “I’m confident these six legislators will serve Wisconsin well by balancing the budget, addressing the long-term needs of our state, and putting taxpayers first.”
