St. Patrick’s Day Plans? One Of America’s Best Irish Pubs Is In Milwaukee
According to Yelp reviews, County Clare Irish Pub in Milwaukee is the seventh-best Irish pub in the country.

MILWAUKEE, WI — With St. Patrick’s Day a week away, you’re probably already making plans. If you want to celebrate at one of the best Irish pubs in the country, you have the luck of the Irish, regardless of whether you trace your ancestry to Ireland: the County Clare Irish Pub is the seventh best Irish pub in the country, according to a new ranking.
That’s according to a compilation of Yelp reviews containing the word “Irish.” Yelp then ranked the establishments by ratings and the number of review. Among the 50 pubs ranked, the County Clare County Irish Pub came in seventh.
The County Clare Irish Pub is located on Milwaukee’s Lower East Side at 1234 N. Astor St. The pub is located within the County Clare Irish Hotel, which also houses the County Clare Irish Restaurant.

What did Yelp reviewers love about the pub?
One reviewer, Jacqueline B., of Aurora, Illinois, said the pub is “a little preview of Ireland” with an interior that has an “Irish bar feel.”

“Top that off with friendly service and some live Irish music,” she wrote, “and you might as well be abroad.”
“It’s so cozy!” she wrote. “The atmosphere is great for a chill night. Between the fireplace and the what I'm calling Irish jam band (group of seemingly random people sitting at a table playing different instruments and coming and going at will) this was perfect for a casual drink.”
