Travel Agents Add Huge Value When Traveling

My name is Sara Nowacki, and I’m the owner of Platinum Travel. I’ve been a travel agent since 2016, after a career as a math instructor at both the secondary and college levels. I have had the privilege to travel to over 25 different countries and all over the United States. I customize amazing vacations for people who want to see the world, and provide a seamless, personalized, stress-free, door-to-door travel experience.

I started this series of posts to talk about topics related to the travel industry, to dispel some misconceptions, and to encourage you to have an outstanding travel experience. Travel agents design vacations around your interests and how you like to travel. We do this by getting to know you and finding out what you want to do when you are on vacation. A call center or website will not do that for you.

Travel agents can create any type of vacation you want - an African safari, a privately chauffeur driven tour of Ireland, a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea, a European river cruise, or a relaxing beach getaway in the Caribbean – you name it, I can get you there.

I have clients that I know what kind of trips, hotels, flight times and even what seats on the plane they like. They can call me and say they would like to go to Greece, and I plan the perfect vacation for them. Likewise, when I see a trip that I know a client would like, I let them know about it.

I am available to you 24/7 when you travel. You can always reach me via phone, or email when you are travelling. Before you travel, I am always around to answer any question you may have. After you travel, I am going to follow up as well to see how you enjoyed your trip.

Travel agents arrange all the details of your vacation including flights, hotels, transfers and tours with companies they have a trusted relationship with. All you have to do is show up and have fun! While you are traveling, I am monitoring your flights to make sure they are on time and rebooking them if needed.
