Two Killed In I-41 Crash: Report
According to sheriff's officials, two people were found lying on I-41 — one in traffic, and one in the ditch.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Washington County say two people died late Tuesday following an auto accident on I-41.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on I-41 in the northbound lanes between Highway 60 and Highway 144 at just before 10 p.m.
According to sheriff's officials, two people were found lying on I-41 — one in traffic, and one in the ditch.

Sheriff's officials said lifesaving measures were performed on both accident victims. Flight for Life was called for both victims, however one person died at the scene of the crash, and the other died following emergency transport to the Froedtert Medical Center.
Members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office crash reconstruction team are continuing to investigate the crash, however officials say it appeared that both victims were ejected from the vehicle after it collided with a guardrail on the east side of I-41.

Officials continued, saying that the vehicle first entered the median, prior to crossing both lanes of traffic and into the guardrail.
The northbound lanes of I-41 were closed for about four hours. Names will be released at a later time, officials said.
