A 7-year-old boy who lived near 19th and National Avenue was taken to a hospital suffering from numerous injuries, and died a few hours later. The TV station reports the child suffered from malnutrition and bruising. Police in the apartment where the boys lived reportedly found drug paraphernalia and syringes.
Two women have been arrested in connection with the death of the 7-year-old boy, while two men have been arrested for failing to act to prevent bodily harm. Reports say the two women arrested are not the mothers of the abused children.
