Weekend Milwaukee OWI Arrests: Nov. 10-12
Eight drivers were arrested on suspicion of OWI this weekend on Milwaukee County roads.

MILWAUKEE, WI - From the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office: Acting Sheriff Richard R. Schmidt ordered an aggressive Operating While Intoxicated (OWI- drugs and/or alcohol) initiative to rid the Milwaukee County freeway system of intoxicated drivers. This weekend’s Operation Drive Sober initiative from Friday at 4:00 p.m. through today at 6:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of eight drunken drivers. The average PBT test results were .14.
Two repeat offenders were arrested for OWI-2nd: Tommie Mitchell, age 59, of Milwaukee, and Daniel Marchewka, age 30, of Germantown.
Six people were taken into custody for OWI-1st offenses: Joseph Speth, age 31, of Mineral Point; Cesario Pinter, age 31, of Oak Creek; Paula Biersach, age 50, of Franklin; Omar Contreras, age 23, of Milwaukee; Edgar Tadeo Dimas, age 28, of Random Lake; and John Thao, age 26, of Greendale.
