WI Weather: Will It Ever Be Dry Again?

Following last year's extreme drought, spring in Wisconsin has featured no shortage of rain.

MILWAUKEE — The answer to the question: "Will it ever be dry again in Wisconsin?" is "yes, but not for a while."

Tuesday will provide a brief respite from storms before more rain arrives on Wednesday.

Things will possibly dry out on Sunday.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1pm and 4pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Southwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 75. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
