A winter storm warning effective Tuesday has been issued for Milwaukee and most of the state of Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE — A winter storm warning effective Tuesday has been issued for Milwaukee and most of the state of Wisconsin.
"Heavy wet snow expected," the National Weather Service said.
"Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches for a storm total of 3 to 10 inches. Warmer temperatures and a possible mix with rain will result in the lower amounts for lakeshore areas, with quickly rising amounts farther inland. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph."
