Wisconsin Badgers vs Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Oct. 29: Everything You Need To Know

Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

WISCONSIN -- Wisconsin’s defense continued its impressive showing this season when it beat Iowa 17-9 on Saturday. For the sixth time in seven games, the Badgers allowed less than 20 points to their opponent. Wisconsin held the Hawkeyes to only 83 yards on the ground (on 27 carries) and didn’t allow Iowa quarterback C.J. Beathard to get untracked, forcing him into a 17 of 33 passing day for 153 yards.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Badgers ran for 167 yards, with Corey Clement doing the bulk of the work (35 carries for 134 yards, 1 touchdown). Quarterback Alex Hornibrook complemented the running game with 197 passing yards. Overall, though, Wisconsin was only able to muster 17 points and will need to score more to defeat Nebraska, who has a two-game lead over Wisconsin atop the division.

The unbeaten Cornhuskers, who average 4.6 yards per carry and have rushed for 17 touchdowns, are going to test Wisconsin’s run defense. In Nebraska’s 27-14 victory over Purdue on Saturday, the Cornhuskers carried the ball 37 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. also passed for 252 yards and a touchdown.

On Campus
General Public parking on Wisconsin’s campus for football games is hard to come by, especially if you want to be close to the action. Single game parking for football is available for purchase from lots with availability on a first come, first served basis on the day of the game only. Patrons wishing to purchase parking the day of the game will pay the lot attendant as they enter the lot. These lots will be determined once the season begins. For more information contact the UW Athletic Ticket Office at (608) 262-1440.

Off Campus
If you are looking for parking and want to be in the thick of the action head to the student neighborhoods just across the street from the west side of Camp Randall, off of N Breese Terrace. Parking averages about $20/vehicle, and the student neighborhoods are the perfect place to tailgate. Head here early and you will have your pick of just about any spot.
