Wisconsin DOT Releases Fatal Accident Video of Driver Falling from Hoan Bridge

The Wisconsin DOT released footage of the Hoan Bridge fatal accident, showing the driver losing control and going over the side.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The community mourned the tragic loss of a man who fell 50 feet to his death Dec. 19 after blustery conditions on Milwaukee's Hoan Bridge caused multiple accidents. That man, 27-year-old Christopher John Weber of Milwaukee, was the sole occupant of his vehicle at the time of the crash.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has released traffic camera footage of Weber's fatal plunge. Ice on the I-794 over pass caused his vehicle to swerve erratically until his vehicle struck the retaining wall and careened over the edge.

A second version of the video, posted by FOX 6 Friday evening, shows the accident in closer detail.
