Wisconsin Winter Weather Advisory: When Will Snow End, How Much Will Fall?
South central Wisconsin is under a winter weather advisory, with the heaviest snow in the lake counties and south of Madison.

(Updated) MILWAUKEE, WI — Much of the east central, south central and southeast portions Wisconsin will be blanketed with snow that began Sunday and is expected to continue through Tuesday according to the National Weather Service. Lake-effect snow will continue the snow into Tuesday for far eastern Wisconsin, with snowfall amounts varying from 4 to 9 inches.
The winter weather advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m. Tuesday. The highest amounts will be received southwest of Madison and over far eastern Wisconsin near Lake Michigan. Modest east to northeast winds are expected, with some blowing and drifting snow to occur.
The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between midnight and noon Monday well inland from Lake Michigan. Heavier snowfall rates will continue at times over the lake counties into Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Near Lake Michigan, gusts of 20 to 25 mph are possible.

Here’s the forecast for the rest of the weekend through Tuesday:
Monday: Snow., patchy blowing snow between 9 a.m and noon, high near 33, east wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Monday night: Snow, with patchy blowing snow before midnight, then patchy blowing snow after 3 a.m.; low around 23.; northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent . New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tuesday: Snow, mainly before 1 p.m., patchy blowing snow before 7 a.m., then patchy blowing snow after 8 a.m.; high near 27; north wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.Tuesday night: A 30 percent chance of snow before 7 p.m.; patchy blowing snow before 7 p.m.; partly cloudy, with a low around 14, north wind 10 to 15 mph.
