Woman Harbored Accused Killer Dariaz Higgins: Report
Authorities say she was with Higgins when he threw a strange package onto the side of the road in Minnesota.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities in Wisconsin say a woman who traveled with Dariaz Higgins at the time he shot and killed the mother of his child has also been charged in connection with the crime.
According to a criminal complaint field in Milwaukee, Deloise Lipsey traveled with Higgins prior to, and after the shooting death of Sierra Robinson on March 11. Authorities also say Lipsey was with Higgins when authorities issued an Amber Alert for his 2-year-old daughter Noelani Robinson.
According to the criminal complaint, Higgins rented Lipsey a room at a Rodeway Inn on the night of March 8 just outside of Austin. Investigators say Higgins gave Lipsey some marijuana and Hennessy before leaving her alone in the room by herself until the morning of March 10.

According to the criminal complaint, they left the hotel on March 10 on their way to Minneapolis. After driving a short while, investigators say Higgins ordered Lipsey to pull over to the side of the road. Higgins then got out, opened the rear tailgate of their car and threw a bundle out on the side of the road.
Investigators say Lipsey and Higgins then drove to Milwaukee.

According to the criminal complaint, Higgins agreed to give Noelani back to Sierra a few days earlier. Sierra traveled back to Milwaukee to meet Higgins. Police say Higgins, Sierra and a friend met up at the farmer's market at 22nd Street and Fund du Lac Ave on March 11.
Police say Noelani was not present at that time, and that Higgins told them he would turn over Noelani soon. Police say the three of them got into his black SUV only to "drive around, smoke week, drink and talk about old times," the criminal complaint stated.
According to the complaint, as they were on the road, Higgins gave Sierra and the friend an ecstacy pill, which they split. They drove to an apartment building near N. 91st Street and W. Mill Road. Higgins told Sierra and the friend that Noelani was inside.
Police say the shooting happened in the moments after they parked the car and got out.
According to the complaint, Milwaukee police officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of N. 91st Street on a report of the shooting.
When police arrived, officers reported finding a woman — later identified as Sierra Robinson — lying on her back. There was a gunshot wound to the top of her chest, another on the right side of her cheek and another on her left wrist, according to police.
The criminal complaint stated that officers checked for a pulse and began CPR; however, Robinson succumbed to her wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
According to police, following the shooting, Lipsey and Higgins drove to Detroit. The next day, investigators say police caught the two of them smoking marijuana, taking pills and drinking Hennessy behind a Detroit-area hotel.
Investigators say Higgins drove off, leaving Lipsey behind, and that the officers on-scene let Lipsey go in order to pursue the car that Higgins fled in.
Higgins Charged, Noelani Found
Higgins has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, use of a dangerous weapon and first-degree recklessly endangering safety in connection with the shooting death of Sierra Robinson. If convicted, Higgins faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
After a nationwide search, 2-year-old Noelani's body was found in a ditch off of Highway 218, which is 15 miles north of Austin, Minnesota on March 15. The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Noelani's death a “homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head.”
