Wrong-Way Freeway Driver Admits to Drinking '4, 5, or 6' Modelo Beers Before Crash
A 39-year-old man who was reportedly intoxicated, crashed his car on the Marquette Interchange while driving the wrong way on the interstate

MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 39-year-old man who reportedly drank "4, 5, or 6 Modelo beers" and drove the wrong way on I-94 before crashing his vehicle into a retaining wall.
Officials say, on Saturday night, April 1, Juan Marguia, age 39, of Milwaukee, was involved in a crash on the north to east ramp in the Marquette Interchange.
Marguia crashed into a median barrier wall and no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The crash investigation revealed that Marguia had been driving the wrong way on the freeway prior to the crash, the Sheriff office said.

A passenger in Marguia’s vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Marguia also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and both were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, officials said.
Marguia stated that he drank “4, 5, 6 Modelo beers” and that he had been drinking downtown, according to the Sheriff's office.
