• Darlene Ann Lancaster (themonroetimes.com) — Longtime Monroe resident Darlene Ann Lancaster, 85, has passed away, with funeral services set for Saturday, October 3, at Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe. A former co-owner of Larry's Chalet Market and Walmart employee, she was also known for her church work, hospital volunteering, and cheerful clowning and card-making that brightened many local lives.
