16-Year-Old West Student Arrested For Social Media Threat: Report

WAUKESHA, WI -- Waukesha police arrested and charged a 16-year-old Waukesha West student after authorities said she threatened another student with the use of a social media post.

Waukesha police responded to Waukesha West High School just before noon on April 8 on a report of an incident between two students there.

According to reports, a 16-year-old girl was cited for disorderly conduct for sharing a threatening video on social media with another student.

The nature of the post and the platform used to share the video were not released to the public, Waukesha Patch has learned.
