2 Teens Implicated in Death of Missing 17-Year-Old Girl
Two teens have been arrested in the death of a 17-year-old girl whose body was found in Racine County in a wooded area.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — Two teens have been arrested and implicated in the death of 17-year-old Olivia Mackay, the 17-year-old girl who was found in a forested area in Racine County after a several-day search.
17-year-old Kenosha Olivia M. Mackay was found after she reportedly went missing after a several-day search when she turned up deceased in a forested area in Racine County. According to a Kenosha News report, Makay was a student at Indian Trail High School.
According to a Kenosha News report Friday midday, Daniel Tate, 19, and Jamari Cook, 17, both of Kenosha, are in the Kenosha County Jail in connection with the case, said Kenosha police spokesman Sgt. James Beller.

The cause, manner and circumstance surrounding the death and identity of the victim remained under investigation by the Mount Pleasant detectives as the Wisconsin State Crime Lab Response Team and the State Patrol Reconstruction Unit assisted in the initial investigation before charges were officially filed in Kenosha County against Tate and Cook. The Kenosha Police Department is now the lead agency on the case.
The Kenosha Police Department worked with the Mount Pleasant Police Department and inquired about the identity of the dead female that was found. Mackay’s family has been notified, and positive identification was made.
