20-Year-Old Accused Of Running Drug House In Racine
Authorities in Racine County say they recovered more than 600 grams of marijuana, weapons, and had to place three young kids in safe custody

RACINE WI -- Authorities in Racine are reporting that they arrested a 20-year-old man living just west of the city's near north side on multiple drug-related crimes.
According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, on the morning of Sep. 7, the Racine County Sheriff's S.W.A.T team and Racine County Metro Drug Unit agents executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of La Salle Street.
Sheriff's officials said they learned that Diego Salais, 20, had been selling marijuana out of his home. During their search, authorities reportedly found 607.9 grams of marijuana with a street value of $4,000, a digital scale, packaging materials, a 45-caliber handgun, a shotgun, cell phones and $5,675 in cash.

Sheriff's officials said there also were three young children in the residence. Racine County Human Services Department was contacted and responded under the drug-endangered children protocol. Salais has been charged with possession of THC with intent to deliver, use of a dangerous weapon, maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He's being held in the Racine County Jail on a $4,000 cash bond.
