RACINE COUNTY, WI β The way people donate funds to their favorite nonprofits is changing, and the Racine County United Way is hosting a special one-day-only giving event to help 60 local nonprofits.
The event, called DO MORE 24, starts at Noon Thursday and goes for 24 hours until Noon Friday.
βGiving days help introduce and reinforce new giving behaviors that can help lead to greateryear-round giving,β said Rodney Prunty, United Way of Racine County president. βTheycapitalize on a moment in time and bring energy and momentum to a particular cause ororganization.β
