24-Year-Old Racine Man Nets OWI in Whitefish Bay

A 24-year-old Racine man was cited for OWI-1st after police stopped his vehicle for an apparent speed violation.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A 24-year-old Racine man was cited for OWI-1st after police stopped his vehicle for an apparent speed violation on Aug. 26.

According to Whitefish Bay police, an officer stopped the driver of a gray Toyota, Samuel C. Wahlen, on the 4900 block of N. Lake Drive just after 3 a.m. on Aug. 26.

Wahlen was taken into custody for OWI-1st, and transported to the Whitefish Bay police department where he refused an intoximeter test, and was processed as a refusal, according to police.

Wahlen was cited, booked and later released to a responsible party, police reports state.
