Angry Dad Beats 9-Year-Old Girl for Putting 'Stolen' Candy Canes in Letter to Santa
Man reportedly beat his 9-year-old daughter with a belt after she took candy canes so she could put them in a letter to Santa Claus.

KENOSHA -- A Kenosha man is in jail and faces child abuse charges after he reportedly beat his 9-year-old daughter with a belt after she took candy canes so she could put them in a letter to Santa Claus.
According to a report by the Kenosha News, Louis E. Morgan told police in a written statement "I told (her) that there was no Santa Claus and he wasn’t the one bringing the gifts, that it was her mom and I busting our butts and shopping in the cold and saving money to give them the gifts they want, not some FANTASY and the sooner she learned that the better off she would be.”
According to the Kenosha News, police were called to Curtis Strange Elementary School after the girl told her teacher that she had been struck repeatedly with a belt.
