'The Branch' Cafe Opens on Racine's South Side

RACINE, WI — A new cafe quietly opened on Racine's South side this week.

The Branch, 1501 Washington Ave. has opened Wednesday in Uptown's old American Bank and Trust Company.

The Branch is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and serves breakfast and lunch.

Media reports say that owner Kristina Campbell recently bought the building and kept its original look and feel.

The Branch serves beer from the Benjamin Beer Company and also serves wine.
