Brothers Killed In Bar Shooting Identified: Kenosha Police

Police say one suspect has been arrested after a double shooting. Police have identified the victims.

VILLAGE OF TWIN LAKES, WI — Police have released the identities of two brothers who were shot and killed in a double shooting at a bar in Twin Lakes early Friday morning.

According to a Kenosha News report, the two shooting victims were 28 and 31-year-old brothers from Twin Lakes. The report stated that the suspect was taken into custody hours later on I-94 near Tomah.

On Saturday, police said that 28-year-old Richard Samuel died at the scene. His brother Kenneth Samuel III, 31, was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

According to police reports, officers responded to the Beach Bar, 402 S, Lake St. at about 2 a.m. Friday on a report of a double shooting. When officers arrived on-scene, they found Richard Samuel lying dead in the parking lot, the Kenosha News is reporting. His 31-year-old brother Kenneth was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

The suspect, whom police said was a 25-year-old man from Trevor, fled the scene and was taken into custody just after 8 p.m. His identity has yet to be released by authorities.
