Police in Caledonia arrested two teens implicated in a wave of vehicle vandalism and thefts in the Caledonia area. Firearms were found.

CALEDONIA, WI — Police in Caledonia have arrested two teens implicated in a wave of vehicle vandalism and thefts in the Caledonia area that began in late October and escalated last weekend. Police are reporting that two teens, 14 and 15 years old, have been arrested after the department received numerous complaints of criminal damage and thefts from vehicles.

According to police, many vehicles have had tires punctured and words or phallic images scratched onto the exterior paint. If vehicles were unsecured, the suspects went through the vehicles and stole items. Police also said suspects cut seats inside the vehicles and wrote on the interiors with a marker.

According to police, both teens admitted to being involved in the acts. Police recovered several firearms related to these offenses, but one is still unaccounted for. Police also recovered two shotguns taken by the juveniles that were related to these incidents.
