City Officials Seek Applicants for Boards and Commissions
New web portal launched to make applying easier.

RACINE, WI -- City officials in Racine are seeking volunteers to serve on a variety of boards and committees, and are directing members of the public to apply online using a new web interface.
Racine Mayor Cory Mason and City Clerk Tara Coolidge launched the new web portal on the City’s website on Wednesday. The new web portal also allows residents to see who currently serves, what vacancies exist, when terms expire, helpful contact information, and links to agendas.
The portal can be found here: https://cityofracine.org/Boards-and-Commissions/

“What excites me about our new web portal, is that our residents now have one central location where they can see what’s available and apply right away. It is an easier, more transparent process for the public, and hopefully allows me to fill vacancies more efficiently,” Mason said in a statement to Patch.
If residents have questions about the portal they should call the Office of the City Clerk at (262) 636-9171.
