Community 'A Better Place' After Child Porn Man Arrested: Report

A 39-year-old man has been arrested on 15 counts of child pornography after authorities say they got a tip from a national watchdog group.

RACINE, WI — Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says the Racine community "is a better place" following the arrest of a 39-year-old man on 15 counts of child pornography.

According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, agents from the Internet Crimes Against Children unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that linked the home IP address and Facebook account of Jason M. Morrison to child pornography.

Sheriff's officials said they conducted a search warrant at Morrison's home on N. Memorial Drive following an investigation. During the search, computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices were seized, and a preliminary search of one computer's hard drive turned up multiple videos and images of child pornography.

Officials also said that through their ongoing investigation into Morrison, a complete forensic search of his seized electronic devices may result in more charges.

Morrison was transported to the Racine County Jail and is currently being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
